ABOUT OUR CHAMPAGNES |

THE HOUSE 1798 : Haydn finished The Creation, Napoleon won the Battle of the Pyramids while Nelson won the Battle of the Nile, and the House of Jacquesson was founded. The business flourished immediately because of the quality of the wines from this new House. In particular, their champagne became a favourite of Napoleon who took it on his numerous campaigns as well as serving it at his wedding to the Archduchess Marie-Louise of Austria. THE HOUSE STYLE Elegance with complexity is the hallmark of the House. The distinguishing feature of our range of wines is an elegant clarity of bouquet and taste which is enhanced by a subtle complexity obtained from the blend of grapes and the use of wood.
